Herds descend on Martin Place

City dwellers and workers have a chance to try some of Australia’s finest and best raised meat at the Martin Place Bar (51 Martin Place, Ph 9231 5575) Thursdays and Fridays when producers will front the barbie with their best stuff. For example, on Thursday February 11, you can try some of the beef that Neil Perry reckons “is one of the best pieces of beef in the world”, grass-fed Cape Grim from northwestern Tasmania; and then on Thursday February 18, Tallabung pork from Forbes.
