Big night in Helensburgh
: I’m putting this little item in for two reasons. One, we don’t do a lot for readers down that far south and, two, my good friend Duncan Leadbitter, who is a tireless worker for sustainable seafood, is involved. It’s being held at the Helensburgh Lions Club at 6.30pm on October 12. The night starts with a screening of a terrific and scary film, End of the Line, and then a discussion hosted by Duncan and local, Genevieve Quirk. And, yes, you get to munch on some sustainable fish from local restaurant Red Kitchen, cooked by Caroline Pontello.
