Disappearing Danny
Chef Danny Russo is like one of those dolls you knock over and it bounces back up again. Last seen running the kitchen at the Beresford, he’s popped up now at the Italian Kitchen and Bar at Easts Leagues Club (93 Spring Street Bondi Junction, Ph 9386 3217). Danny is a fine chef (there’s some of his food pictured) and there is, of course, a tradition of good Italian tucker in Leagues Clubs — remember Swordfish? Definitely worth a visit.
