Service problem solution?
I noticed a new place in Chinatown called Taiwan (52 Dixon Street Haymarket, Ph 9212 2220) on the site of the old Little Sheep Hot Pot Restaurant which, sadly, I never got to. Never mind. I love Taiwanese food, so off we went for lunch. There’s a strange screen on table. That’s the menu. You press your selection, tap the screen, the food arrives. Want the bill? Tap the screen. The food was forgettable, but the service intriguing, if mystifying: they still had three people on the floor. I can’t see it taking off.
