Almost next door to Grill’d is, wait for it, a new Thai restaurant, Yuk Yor (3/241 Crown Street Darlinghurst, Ph 9380 8860). Now, I like a good tom yum goong or a pad see iew as much as the next food lover, but how many Thai restaurants do we need in Sydney? I went with my wife and youngest daughter for a cheap and cheerful at Newtown the other day. I counted seven Thai restaurants in as many hundred metres. Enough already! It’s a plague. It’s Thairanny. It’s Thaime we had something else.
