The duck is quacking
: Went to the opening of the new Jared Ingersoll joint Cotton Duck (50 Holt Street, Surry Hills, Ph 8399 0250), not for long — too crowded — but will be going back to eat and tell you about it. Many will be pleased to know that Penny Williams, an early Danks Street Depot chef, is back in the kitchen after a stint in Bali, a place she fell so deeply in love with she’s bought land there to build a cooking school. But she’ll be at the Duck for a while, so catch her there.
