Eggplant is having a really good season with plentiful supplies of shiny, firm fruit. Try it in the eggplant hotpot with minced pork at Ashfield's New Shanghai.

Autumn leaves, spinach and cabbage end up in Sticky + Moo's Japanese okonomiyaki pancake that's topped with Japanese mayonnaise and a side order of bacon. Mmm.
