Cuisine: Indian,Pakistani
It’s open late and it’s Pakistani so it’s no surprise it’s popular with taxi drivers, who know what the food is supposed to taste like, as well as insomniacs and those of us who just love the spice and sharpness of the Pakistani version of Subcontinental cuisine. Even the ubiquitous butter chicken $15.50 has more of a bite to it. On the menu it just says lamb cutlets $15.95 but these juicy little morsels have been marinated and cooked in the tandoor. Just about all the curries come out at $14.50 except for a couple of prawn and fish dishes. And if you order it at about five in the afternoon you’ll be rewarded with the delicious Lahori charga chicken $25, the house special. Another case of cabbies know best.
